The design themes in this piece are clean, simple and elegant lines. Katie has used subtle colour tints to show the beautiful qualities of kiln glass.
 
The gentle colours encourage light to pass through, highlighting bubbles and casting reflections.
 
This piece is made using a dropout method, suspending the glass on a ceramic ring. Gravity and heat of the kiln allows the glass to drop and create a bowl shape.

Approximately a diameter of 26 cm and 8 cm depth.
